Cotton
Commonly known as cotton. The fiber is used for textile and quilt. Cotton fiber has high strength, good air permeability, poor wrinkle resistance and poor tensile property; it has good heat resistance, second only to hemp; it has poor acid resistance, and is resistant to dilute alkali at room temperature; it has good affinity for dyes, easy to dye, complete chromatogram and bright color. Cotton type fabric refers to the fabric made of cotton yarn or cotton and cotton type chemical fiber blended yarn.
Characteristics of cotton fabrics:
1. It has strong hygroscopicity and large shrinkage, about 4-10%.
2. Alkali and acid resistance. Cotton cloth is very unstable to inorganic acid, even very dilute sulfuric acid will destroy it, but organic acid is weak, almost no destructive effect. Cotton cloth is more alkali resistant. Generally, dilute alkali has no effect on cotton cloth at room temperature, but the strength of cotton cloth will decrease after strong alkali effect. The "mercerized" cotton cloth can be obtained by treating cotton cloth with 20% caustic soda.
3. Light resistance and heat resistance are common. In the sun and atmosphere, the cotton cloth will be oxidized slowly, which will reduce the strength. Cotton cloth will be damaged by long-term high temperature action, but it can withstand short-term high temperature treatment of 125 ~ 150 ℃.
4. Microorganism has destructive effect on cotton fabric. It is not resistant to mould.
Cotton fiber
Cotton polyester is a kind of fabric mixed with cotton and polyester. It contains a little more cotton. The characteristics of cotton polyester have both the advantages of cotton and polyester. Will cotton fiber be a mixture of cotton and nylon? Cotton fiber is a kind of modified polypropylene fiber. The core absorption effect of cotton fiber makes it soft, warm, dry, hygienic and antibacterial. Spandex
Spandex is the abbreviation of polyurethane fiber, which is a kind of elastic fiber. It is highly elastic and can stretch 6-7 times, but it can quickly return to its initial state with the disappearance of tension. Its molecular structure is a chain like, soft and extensible polyurethane, which enhances its properties by connecting with the hard chain segment.
Spandex has excellent elasticity. The strength is 2-3 times higher than that of latex fiber, the linear density is also finer, and it is more resistant to chemical degradation. Spandex has good acid and alkali resistance, sweat resistance, seawater resistance, dry cleaning resistance and wear resistance. Spandex is generally not used alone, but a small amount of it is mixed into the fabric. This kind of fiber has the properties of both rubber and fiber, most of which are used in the core spun yarn with spandex as the core. It also has spandex naked silk and twisting silk made of spandex and other fibers. It is mainly used in various warp knitted, weft knitted fabrics, woven fabrics and elastic fabrics.
Polyester fiber
Terylene is an important variety of synthetic fiber, which is also the trade name of polyethylene terephthalate polyester fiber, mainly used for textile. Dacron, commonly known as "Dacron" in China, is widely used in the manufacture of clothing fabrics and industrial products. Polyester has excellent formability. The flat, fluffy or pleated polyester yarn or fabric formed after setting can last for a long time after being washed many times in use. Polyester is one of the three synthetic fibers with the simplest technology and cheaper price. In addition, it has strong and durable, good elasticity, not easy to deform, corrosion-resistant, insulation, crisp, easy to wash and dry, etc., which is loved by people.
